In Memory of Richard Lowell
We are saddened to announce the passing of one of our dearest and beloved friends, Richard Lowell of Snohomish Washington.
Richard was an amazing individual - caring, generous, thoughtful, and his loss is deeply felt by many. His obituary will soon be published, and suffice to say it will attest to the many talents, accomplishments, and interests that he had in his active and blessed life.
Richard was devoted to volunteering for Thumbnail Theater. His genuine love of music, community, the arts, and the friendships formed in this very special place meant the world to Richard, as it does to all of us. He spent countless hours over the last several years rejuvenating and maintaining the beautiful landscaping at the theater. His attention to detail and genuine love of volunteering was so special. We are eternally grateful to Richard and to Donna for their support. He was also a regular participant in our fundraising concerts and tribute shows. His performances and contributions to these events were appreciated more than words can say. He loved the theater, the community, and the people. He is personally responsible for inspiring and mentoring others to be involved in music and the arts. He was the Founder, band leader, and keyboardist for the F Street Project. Their June concert at the Thumb was incredible and has the distinction of being the first concert event we've had since March 7, 2020!
Our deepest condolences to his wife Donna, family, friends and colleagues. Richard inspired all of us with his positive, helpful ways, his graciousness, friendship, and humility. He will be greatly missed.
Thumbnail Theater plans to hold a Celebration of Life music event at the theater, including some of Richard's favorite music performed by the F Street Project band members and others.
